Why Shotlume

Flow makes clips.
Shotlume makes films.

Google Flow generates beautiful short clips — but a story needs consistency, planning and an edit. That is the gap Shotlume fills.

Flow on its own

  • Every clip is a separate prompt you write and paste by hand
  • Characters and outfits drift from clip to clip
  • Doors swap sides, props appear and vanish between cuts
  • No timeline: no trim, subtitles, reorder or join
  • You never see the cost of the whole film until it is spent

Flow + Shotlume

  • One idea in; cast, screenplay and shot list out
  • Characters and voices created once in Flow, reused in every shot
  • Layout lock, wardrobe lock and start/end frames keep every cut continuous
  • Edit panel: trim, subtitles, reorder, redo — then one smooth MP4
  • Credits per clip and for the whole film, before you start
Features

A small studio, in one panel.

From the first idea to the exported file, Shotlume handles the busywork and leaves the creative decisions to you.

01

An AI Director, not a prompt box

Writes the cast, the screenplay and every shot from one line, using your own Gemini, Claude or OpenAI key — with automatic fallback between them.

02

Characters and voices made in Flow

Creates each character inside Flow and picks a distinct voice, so faces stay consistent and nobody sounds alike.

03

Shoots every scene for you

Presses generate, notices the moment a clip is ready and carries on. Walk away while the film shoots.

04

Continuity locks

A locked set layout (which side the door is on), per-character wardrobe, and every scene starting exactly where the last one ended.

05

Flicker detection and repair

Flow sometimes weaves two timelines into one clip. Shotlume spots the flicker and repairs it frame by frame — or redoes the scene once.

06

Editing Flow doesn’t have

Trim, subtitles, reorder and redo, plus a back-to-back preview before you export.

07

One smooth MP4

Clips are joined in the browser with a real H.264 and audio pipeline. No stutter, no re-recording, no extra software.

08

Know the cost first

Choose 4–15 seconds and 360p / 720p / 1080p and see the credits per clip and for the whole film. Shotlume learns Flow’s real price.

09

22 visual styles

Pixar-style 3D, anime, claymation, watercolor, comic book, cinematic, Bollywood glossy, noir, vlog, product ad and more — held across every shot.

How it works

Seven steps. You approve every one.

These are real screens from the extension, running on top of Google Flow.

Write a single line, then choose the number of clips, clip length (4–15 s), resolution, aspect ratio, language and one of 22 visual styles. The film length and the Flow credits it will cost are shown before you spend any.

The AI writes your characters — looks, outfits and voice directions — and Shotlume creates them inside Flow for you. You only approve.

Scene by scene: location, camera, opening and closing frame, one speaker per clip. Edit anything; every cut is planned to match the next.

Every clip gets its exact prompt, with set-layout lock, wardrobe lock and continuity rules built in. Tweak a word or rebuild them all.

Shotlume drives Flow: sets video mode, length and resolution, adds the character chips, presses generate, waits, and moves to the next scene.

Trim each clip, add subtitles, reorder, redo a single scene — and preview the whole film back-to-back.

Download every clip, or join them into a single MP4 in the browser with the sound and lip-sync intact.

Walkthrough

See it run, start to finish.

A recorded walkthrough of Shotlume inside Google Flow: install, cast, script, shooting and export.

Length & cost

Plan the film before you spend a credit.

Pick how many scenes, how long each clip is and at what resolution. Shotlume tells you the final length and the credits needed — per clip and for the whole film.

Clip length
4 to 15 seconds — short punchy beats or longer scenes, applied to the script and to Flow.
Resolution
360p, 720p or 1080p. Draft cheaply, shoot the final at full quality.
Scenes
3 to 50. A 24-second test or a multi-minute story; “shoot only the first 3” tests cheaply.
Real prices
Shotlume reads Flow’s “Generating will use N credits” and remembers it.

FAQ

Questions, answered.

What exactly is Shotlume?

A Chrome extension that adds an AI “Director” panel to Google Flow. You type an idea; it writes the story, creates the characters in Flow, generates each clip, lets you edit, and exports one MP4 — asking for your approval at every stage.

Do I need a Google Flow account?

Yes. Shotlume works inside Flow, so you need to be signed in with an account that can generate video. Flow’s own credits pay for the clips; Shotlume shows an estimate before you start.

Which AI services write the story?

Your own key for Google Gemini, Anthropic Claude or OpenAI — whichever you add. If one is busy or fails, Shotlume tries the next. Keys stay in your browser and go only to the provider you chose.

How long can a film be?

You choose the number of clips (3 to 50) and the length of each (4 to 15 seconds, depending on what Flow offers you). Shotlume joins them into a single MP4.

Will my characters look the same in every scene?

That is what the cast, set-layout and wardrobe locks are for. Characters are created once in Flow and referenced in every shot, and each scene starts from the previous scene’s final frame. Video models aren’t perfect, so you can always redo a scene.

How does the license work?

You receive a license code. Paste it into the panel once; the extension checks it with our server, verifies the signed answer, and keeps working offline for up to 72 hours between checks. You can remove a code from a browser at any time.

Is my data safe?

Your ideas, scripts and keys are stored locally in your browser. The license check sends only the license code and a random browser ID. We never receive your stories or your API keys.

Can I try it first?

Yes. Install the extension, click “Register for a free 1-day trial” on the license screen, fill in the short form and your trial code appears instantly. Paste it into the panel and everything is unlocked for one day.

What does it cost?

A one-time ₹1,499 (INR) for a limited time — no subscription. Flow’s own video credits are separate and paid to Google.
